Build printreptopdf for Linux
printreptopdf and repwebexe are built on Windows with the Delphi Linux64 compiler, which links
against a Linux64 SDK pulled into RAD Studio (Tools > Options > Deployment > SDK Manager).
PAServer is only needed to pull or update that SDK, and to run and debug from the IDE: once the SDK
is there, MSBuild compiles and links with no connection
(build\sourceforge\01c-build-linux64.ps1 builds both).
Pull the SDK from the oldest distribution the binaries must run on: glibc tags each function
with the version that last changed it and the binary asks for the newest tags of the SDK it was linked
against. Linked against Rocky Linux 9 or Ubuntu 22.04 (glibc 2.34+) it does not start on Red Hat 8
(GLIBC_2.34 not found); linked against Rocky Linux 8 (glibc 2.28) it runs there and on
every newer distribution. The release builds use rocky8.10.sdk.
The new versions of printreptopdf can handle complex shaping fonts like arabic fonts, so some development libraries must be installed on the machine the SDK is pulled from.
